Meaning of Render

In relation to judgments, the same is said to be rendered when a decision is announced upon law and facts by the court in a conclusive manner and with decisive effect . Render Alternative Definition

In the civil law. To yield; to return; to give again. It is the reverse ‘of “prender.” See “Rendition of Judg ment.”

Traditional meaning of render in the French law history (with some legal use in England and the United States in the XIX Century) [1]: (in French) To yeld; pay; return; used of rents, profits, or services which the tenant had to render, not the landlord to take; see PRENDER.
