Meaning of Real Estate Agent
The meaning of the term depends upon the context. The term may simply be descriptive of the so-called agent’s occupation or denote the legal relationship between such agent and his principal . It is not necessary that the principal of the agent be the vendor of land; he can be the agent of the purchaser as well. A person engaged in the business of procuring purchases and sales of land for third persons on a commission contingent on success.
