Meaning of Purchaser
One who buys property . One who acquires property in any mode other than by descent . A person who takes by purchase . U. C. C. §1-201(33). transferee of a voluntary transfer , and includes immediate or mediate transferee of such a transferee. 11 U.S.C. §101(32).
Purchaser Alternative Definition
A buyer; a vendee. The term is applied indifferently to persons acquiring, by purchase, either realty or personalty, but in the interest of exact nomenclature it should be applied only with respect to the sale of realty; “buyer” being the appropriate term for one who obtains personalty by sale.
