Meaning of Factory
A building , or part of a building, wherein the business of making any article or altering, repairing, ornamenting or finishing of any article is carried on. Usually implies the presence of machinery in the premises for use in the process of making, altering, repairing, etc. of goods . statute law frequently extends the ambit of the term.
