Meaning of Machinery
Parts of a machine considered collectively; any construction of mechanical means designed to work together so as to effect a given end; the working parts of a machine, engine or instrument , arranged and constructed so as to apply and regulate force ; the means and appliances by which anything is kept in action . See Brewer v Ford, 12 N. Y.S. 619, 59 Hun. 17.
Machinery Alternative Definition
This term is said to be more comprehensive than “machine,” including the appurtenances necessary to its working. Ill Mass. 540.
