Meaning of Interinsurance

A system of insurance whereby several individuals, partnerships and corporations underwrite each others risks against various hazards common to all, under an agreement that each underwritter acts separately and severally and not jointly with any other , and all subscribers are insured and at the same time are insurers See U.S. v Weber Paper Co., (C.A.8) 31 F.2d 199.
