Meaning of Special Value

In connection with compensation to the owner of property that has been expropriated, while special adaptability refers to an apparent but future use to which the property may be put, and for which it is particularly adapted, the term special value refers to the present use of the land and its added worth to the owner for the actual and particular use to which it is being put and for which it is specially fit.
