next-of-kin , a relation . Those connected to the person by blood , by marriage, kin, kin-folk and kindred, those descended from a common ancestor as well as in-laws. See Fidelity and Cas. Co. of N. Y. v Jackson, (C.A.N. C.) 297 F.2d 230. Those who would take under statutes of distribution in the case of intestacy. See Reagh v Kellev, 89 Cal.Rptr. 425, 10 C.A.3d 1082.
