Meaning of Bilateral Contract
One in which there are mutual promises between two parties of the contract , each party being both a promissor and promissee . Created when offeror extends a promise and asks for a promise in return and offeree accepts offer by making requested promise. See Antonucci v Stevens Dodge. Inc., 340 N. Y. S.2d 979.
Bilateral Contract Alternative Definition
A contract in which both the contracting parties are bound to fulfill obligations reciprocally towards each other. Lee. Elm. § 781. See “Contract.”
