Tenants at will in the Dictionary of Law consisting of Judicial Definitions and Explanations of Words, Phrases and Maxims
One who holds lands as tenant at the will of the lessor. A tenancy at will is one which may be determined at the will or pleasure of either party.Davis v. Murphy, 126 Mass. 145 (1879), Morton, J.
