A clause in marine insurance policies whereby the insured and his agents or servants are entitled to take all reasonable steps to recover the insured property in peril without the loss of the rights under the insurance and to be repaid any expenditure which may be incurred in the efforts to avert the loss. See reliance Insurance Co. v The Escapade, (C. A.5. Fla.) 280 F.2d 482, 86 A.L.R.2d 1236.
