Concept of “Stirps, Stripes”

Traditional meaning of stirps, stripes in English (with some legal use of this latin concept in England and the United States in the XIX Century) [1]: (in Latin) A stock; root of descent; family. Per stipitem:by stock, by families, by right of representation of an ancestor, not per capita; see 2nd Book (“The Rights of Things”), Blackstone’s Commentaries on the Laws of England 217, 517.
