Schengen agreement in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, schengen agreement is: an instrument permitting the free movement of people between most of the members of the European Union. The entries on trade policy are here. It removed checks at borders between members and replaced them with external border controls. The original agreement entered into force in 1995. The entries on trade policy are here.
