Definition of Ocean 

In relation to social issues, a meaning of ocean  is provided here: The entire body of salt water that covers more than 70 percent of the earth’s surface and is separated by the continents; and whose principal divisions include the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Arctic, and Antarctic oceans.
