International Office of Epizootics in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, international office of epizootics is: an intergovernmental organization established in 1924. The entries on trade policy are here. Its main objectives are (a) to inform governments of the occurrence and course of animal diseases throughout the world and of ways to control these diseases, (b) to coordinate studies devoted to the surveillance and control of animal diseases, and (c) to harmonize regulations for trade in animals and animal products among member countries. The entries on trade policy are here. It cooperates closely with the members of the WTO in the administration of the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures.[1]
