Internal trade in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: usually the trade between the partners to a preferential trade arrangement. Their trade with third countries is known as external trade. Sometimes internal trade is used to describe commercial activity within a single economy, but the use of commerce for this is often preferred.[1]
