Meaning of Forisfacere
(Lat.) To forfeit; to lose on account of crime. It may be applied not only to estates, but to a variety of other things, in precisely the popular sense of the word “forfeit.” Spelman; Du Cange. To confiscate. Du Cange; Spelman. To commit an offense; to do a wrong; to do something beyond or outside of (foris) what is right (extra rationem). Du Cange. To do a thing against or without law. Co.
