Concept of “Expressio Falsi”

Traditional meaning of expressio falsi in English (with some legal use of this latin concept in England and the United States in the XIX Century) [1]: (in Latin) A false statement. Expressio eorum qui tacite insunt nihil operatur: the express mention of those things which are implied avails nothing. Expressio unius est exclusio alterius: the express mention of one thing is the exclusion of another.
