English Legal System: Equal Treatment
In the context of the English law, A Dictionary of Law provides the following legal concept of Equal Treatment : The requirement, enshrined in the Treaty of Rome, that nationals of one EU state moving to work in another EU state must be treated in the same way as those workers of the state to which they have moved. There must be *free movement of workers throughout the EU and no discrimination in relation to pay, social security, and tax benefits.
