Customs Duties
Customs duties in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, customs duties is: charges levied at the border on goods entering or, much less often, leaving the country. These charges are specified in the national tariff schedule. They are usually based on the value of the goods, known as ad valorem tariff and sometimes as a cost per unit in the form of a specific tariff. See also compound tariff, multi-column tariff and single-column tariff.[1]
