Meaning of Confusio
(Lat. confundere). In civil law. A pouring together of liquids; a melting of metals; a blending together of an inseparable compound. It is distinguished from commixtis by the fact that in the latter case a separation may be made, while in a case of confusio there cannot be. Bowyer, Comm. 88; 2 Bl. Comm. 405.
