Meaning of Canvasser

A travelling salesman who goes out on the road soliciting orders for his house and taking with him samples of the goods or wares his house deals in. Such person is not a travelling vendor or travelling salesman because no delivery is made when orders are taken. See L.B. price Co. v City of Atlanta, 31 S.E. 619, 105 Ga. 358.
