The following is a definition of Athens Passenger Convention 1974, produced by Tetley, in the context of admiralty law: The Convention Relating to the Carriage of Passengers and Their Luggage by Sea, adopted by the CMI and IMO at Athens on December 13, 1974 and in force as of April 28, 1987, with Protocol, adopted at London on November 19, 1976 and in force as of April 10, 1989, a Protocol, adopted at London on March 29, 1990 (not yet in force) and a Protocol adopted at London, November 1, 2002 (not in force).
