Concept of “Arrentatio”

Traditional meaning of arrentatio in English (with some legal use of this latin concept in England and the United States in the XIX Century) [1]: (in Latin) A renting; arrentation, licensing an owner of lands in a forest to enclose them with a low hedge and small ditch, under a yearly rent.
