Foster Family Legal Definition

Foster Family in Connecticut

Means a person or persons, licensed or certified by the Department of Children and Families or approved by a licensed child-placing agency, for the care of a child (see Children Protection in Connecticut) or children in a private home General Statutes of Connecticut (U.S.) § 17a-93(m) (2013). FPLS-means the Federal Parent Locator Service, operated by the Federal Office of child (see Children Protection in Connecticut) Support Enforcement of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
