Meaning of Fence
A hedge, structure, wall, ditch or partition for the purpose of entirely, or partially, enclosing a piece of land, is a fence. Colloquially, a person who is a receiver of stolen goods and who, after receiving the stolen goods, disposes of them for profit .
Fence Alternative Definition
