Meaning of Enticement

The act of attracting by arousing hope of pleasure or profit . To Wrongfully induce, persuade a person to do anything. In common law , an action lay in damages for the enticement of a servant . Also, an action lay per quo consortium amisit, for the enticing away of a wife. Both f.r.s. of actions have now become Obsolete in most common law jurisdictions.
