WTO Plurilateral Trade Agreements

WTO plurilateral trade agreements in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: these are the: Agreement on Trade in Civil Aircraft, Agreement on Government Procurement, International Dairy Agreement and International Bovine Meat Agreement. They are included in Annex 4 to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization. These agreements were originally negotiated as so-called “codes” during the Tokyo Round. They contain additional disciplines for each of the sector they cover. Membership of these agreements is not a pre-condition of WTO membership. The International Bovine Meat Agreement and the International Dairy Agreement were terminated on 31 December 1997, and they have been deleted from Annex 4. See also Tokyo Round agreements.[1]
