WTO Ministerial Conference in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, wto ministerial conference is: a conference composed of the representatives of all WTO members at ministerial level which is to meet at least once very two years. The entries on trade policy are here. It has authority to take decisions on all matters under any of the multilateral trade agreements under its jurisdiction. The four ministerial conferences so far have been held in Singapore (9 13 December 1996), Geneva (18 20 May 1998), Seattle (30 November 3 December 1999) and Doha (9 13 November 2001). The fifth ministerial conference is scheduled to be held in Cancun, Mexico, from 10 to 14 September 2003.
