The Canada social science dictionary [1] provides the following meaning of Women’s Liberation Thesis: The theory, within criminology, that women’s involvement in crime will come to more closely resemble men’s as gendered differences between women and men are diminished by women’s greater social participation and equality. Although sounding plausible, there is little empirical evidence to support this theory.
