Definition of White Collar

The Canada social science dictionary [1] provides the following meaning of White Collar: Originally used as a contrast to blue-collar workers and captured the distinction between non-manual and manual labour or workers. With the rise of the service economy and the shrinkage of manual labour, the term has become less useful.
