In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of weapons of mass destruction may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: WMD – Weapons of Mass destruction – are chemical, biological, nuclear or large explosive munitions with the capacity to kill large numbers of human beings.
