Tariff equivalent in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, tariff equivalent is: a calculation based on an agreed formula of what the impact of a non-tariff measure would be if it were converted into a tariff. Such calculations add considerably to the transparency of trade regimes. See also tariffication.[1]
