Concept of Staging Area

In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of staging area may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: Also called tactical holding area (UK) or marshalling area (UK). A place where units, materials, etc are gathered before being called to the scene. Ambulances can park here.[1]
