In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: the Substantial New Programme of Action for the 1980s for the Least Developed Countries. The entries on trade policy are here. Adopted in Paris on 14 September 1981 by the United Nations Conference for the Least Developed Countries to promote the advancement of least developed countries. Progress on the implementation of the SNPA was reviewed and new targets set for it at the Second United Nations Conference for the Least Developed Countries held in September 1990, also in Paris.
