Concept of Shielding

In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of shielding may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: Materials (lead, concrete, etc.) used to block or attenuate radiation in order to protect humans and equipment.[1]
