Concept of Seveso II Directive
In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of seveso ii directive may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: SEVESO II Directive 2003/105/EC – Regulates establishments where certain dangerous substances are processed or stored. The activity ™s operator must set preventive measures, and provide information in case of accidents. Every State must appoint a Competent Authority. Not applicable to ionizing radiations, transport, some waste-fill sites.[1]
