In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: the WTO Ministerial Conference held in Seattle from 30 November to 3 December 1999. Despite exhaustive preparatory discussions and negotiations, the conference did not lead to the widely expected launch of the Millennium Round. See also Doha Ministerial Conference.[1]
