Rio Group in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, rio group is: an intergovernmental grouping consisting of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. It was founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1983 to consider security issues in the region, but it expanded its role in 1986 to include the promotion of democracy and human rights.
