Concept of Radiotoxicity

In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of radiotoxicity may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: The radiotoxicity (as opposed to chemical toxicity) of a substance refers to its potential capacity to cause damage to living tissue due to its ionizing radiation.
