Meaning of Qualified Endorsement

In relation to negotiable instruments, it is an endorsement made on such an instrument whereby the endorser excludes his liability arising from his act of endorsing the instrument. This is normally accomplished by such words as without recourse . See §3-414 of U.C.C.
