Meaning of Pretermitted Heir

A child or a descendant who would normally have received a share in the parent ‘s estate had the parent died intestate , but in respect of whom the parent’s will makes no provision . The rights of such an heir are governed by statutes. Also see §2- 302 of U.P.C.
