Patent Cooperation Treaty in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, patent cooperation treaty is: provides for the filing of an international patent application in member states. Filing has to be done through the patent office of which the applicant is a national or resident, and it has the same effect in member states as filing an application with a national patent office of that state.
