Like the hornbook series, each Nutshell in its series addresses a particular area of law in a straightforward, summary fashion. Nutshells are written primarily for a student audience but they may also be of value to anyone seeking an overview of a doctrinal area. Sample titles are Legal Research in a Nutshell and Contracts in a Nutshell. Most of the Nutshells are on Reserve at the Circulation Desk in Langdell.
