New Miyazawa Intiative in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: the finance package made available by Japan to countries affected by the 1997 Asian economic crisis. Main elements of the initiative were $30 billion in short-term and long-term and funds, purchase of bonds issued by Asian governments and provision of concessional yen loans.
