Negative Comity
Negative comity in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, negative comity is: also called traditional comity. The entries on trade policy are here. It is a term used, for example, in the administration of competition policy. It means that, under the terms of relevant bilateral arrangements, a country has to take account of the interests of the other country when it initiates an action under its competition laws.
