Legal Dictionaries

A legal dictionary defines terms relevant to law (find out more about legal research). While there are several dictionaries to choose from, Black’s Law Dictionary and Ballentine’s Legal Dictionary and Thesaurus (there is some information about it in this Lawi Project) are the two most popular (find out more about legal research). These are available in the Reference area of Langdell (find out more about legal research). Which legal dictionary the readers or users use is a matter of personal preference (find out more about legal research). the readers or users may also find, however, that after the first few weeks of school, the readers or users have only isolated occasions to refer to one (find out more about legal research).
