General Publication
What is General Publication?
A definition of general publication is: In copyright law, “general publication” is such disclosure, communication, circulation, exhibition or distribution of subject of copyright tendered or given to one or more members of general public as implies abandonment of right of common-law copyright or its dedication to public, whereas “limited publication” is one which communicates knowledge of its contents under conditions expressly or impliedly precluding its dedication to public.[1]
