Meaning of General Legacy

One which is to be provided out of the testator ‘s general estate , and does not earmark any particular thing. One designated primarily by quantity or amount and that may be paid out of the general assets in the estate without regard to any particular fund or thing and is not distinguished from others of a like kind. See In re Fletcher’s Estate, (0kl.)308 P.2d304.
