Flat-tariff structure in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, flat-tariff structure is: a tariff schedule in which all tariff rates are equal or nearly equal. The famous example is that of Chile which in 2003 will have a tariff rate of 6% for nearly all imports. See also dispersed tariff.[1]
